We have a new addition to our friend-family. Her name is Ruby and she is as pretty and as sweet as can be! I was so excited to meet her! She even let me hold and cuddle her!! =)
Her parents are naturals and obviously love their little girl so much already. It was cool to see them fall so easily into their new roles.
Congratulations again John and Anna!! Couldn't be happier for you and can't wait to see you guys again!

Last weekend we got to hang out with these awesome siblings! I spent a lot of weekends at their house growing up. Kasie was one of my very best friends and is still one of the most thoughtful people I know. As an only child, being at Kasie's house was a whole new world. A whole new crazy, fun world! =)
It was a blast hanging out with them for a little bit again. They have a cool relationship together!

"I said burrr, it's cold out there... there must be some ice in the atmosphere.I said burrr"... ok, ok I'm doing reciting cheesy cheers now! =) Promise. I'm not complaining - I mean, we've really been pretty spoiled this year so far with an awesome Fall. Still, I'm sad to see it go.
It was cold the day we took Zach, Janie, and their too-cute-for-words kids too. They were so good about it though. We stopped for a little bit to let the kids run in the house and get warm but really, they handled it like champs and we had a lot of fun!

Guess who decided to come into the world a few days early....
That's right, miss Ruby Rose Cannon!! Everybody's great and from the pictures I've seen, Ruby is perfectly adorable! We couldn't be happier for our dear friends John and Anna! CONGRATS!
They're sure to be rock star parents!! We're headed over to do newborn pictures this weekend (on top of two other sessions and a birthday bash...wish us lots of energy!!) and I simply can't wait to meet the newest addition to our fun group! EEEEEK!!! =)
PS - fist bumps going out to all the veterans (and those currently serving, of course) and their families. Thank you for all that you've done and given on our behalf!

Extended family that is! Terice (one of our awesome mini-session clients from last year) contacted us this year about doing two mini-sessions this time - one for her extended family, and one for her husband's. First of all, I thought this was a brilliant idea! Well, as we all know, it's hard to get that many people's schedules to work together...especially during this busy time of year (although really, is there an un-busy time of year anymore?!) So - we had to postpone Terice's family, but we were able to simply reschedule her husband's family for a later date.
That later date came and it. was. fun! There were more kids to run around with and even grandma and grandpa were there!
