We have had the pleasure of photographing miss S since before she was even born! It's been fun watching her grow, and boy has she grown!! If I didn't already love this job, families like this would seal the deal! =)

We took her 1-year pictures over Thanksgiving weekend. Here's what she looks like now!
Can you believe it!? She is such a big girl! She has a lot of personality and of course, is cute as can be. =) I just love how Jodi always has her dressed so stylishly!

Well, I'm back! And you know what that means... we're getting closer and closer to having everyone's galleries done!! Hang in there, you guys have been great!
Next up is Chris and his two adorable kiddos. Those two kept us on our toes for sure! When one was super excited for pictures, the other was being a little bashful. Then, they decided to switch about halfway through the session. =) Isn't that about all kids?! They're so darn cute though!! We had a blast running around and playing!
Chris is a great dad and obviously loves his kids very much. His girlfriend Annette also joined us for some and I think she kinda likes them too. =)
Stay tuned for more family posts this week since we'll be shooting weddings the next two weekends!

Hey blog-land! I only have a second to chat but wanted to share this engagement session with you!!
These two were in the same 5th grade class (at the same school where I was a first grader at the time along their younger brothers.) Lynnette even made me a SUPER cool puppy dog folder that I loved! =) They were all the rage.
Anyway, Deryk moved away a few years later and that was that... until... he and Lynnette crossed paths again a while back. NOW, as you can probably tell from the title of this post, they are engaged and are getting married next Fall. I think it's a fun story and they are a fun couple.
We laughed, sang, and danced non-stop with these two. Chances are that we looked pretty silly to people driving by, but who cares?! It was fun! We can't wait for their wedding!
PS - Thanks again to everyone who has been so patient during this super busy time. If you've ordered prints, they should arrive here early next week. We'll also be posting the remaining gallery's and blog posts real soon too! You guys rock!

Well, Dac and I had a first a few weeks ago... we photographed a Scottish wedding!! Cool right!? It was fun. Both the bride's and groom's families had Scottish heritage and both families sported their respective tartans.
The wedding was at the 21st Century Center in Wichita... in the theater. There were bag pipes, pinning of the fabric, and even some Scottish dancing at the reception! It was fun and cool to see some different traditions.
It also didn't hurt that Julie and Jason were awesome! =) They are both fun-loving and carefree and they did a great job of making their wedding unique to them. I'm glad we got to meet them! Our good friend Joy (pinning the veil in a picture coming up... who I was super happy to see!!) is good friends with Julie so I had heard a lot about them! Here's a quick glance at their big day.

This sweet two-week old is the beautiful product of these friends of ours! She was so good and didn't fuss a bit and was already sportin' some cute little smiles too. =)
In addition to the smiles she was giving us some of her famous grumpy faces! They are too cute. I don't think she's actually grumpy (she seems completely happy and content to me) but she apparently likes to scrunch up her face and be dramatic! She has a killer "pirate eye" look too. Love it!
You may have noticed that the black and white picture is of her on a KU blanket (she even has a cute KU headband on) but since we're OSU fans around these parts, we couldn't allow all that red and blue on here! =) Just kidding!
PS - doesn't Liz look FANTASTIC?!
PSS -we'll have some pictures from a recent wedding on soon. Thank you everyone for your patience during this incredibly busy time!
