We had such a great time with them and wish we could have had about an hour more! We just got so busy chatting and catching up that time flew. Katie is a friend of mine from waaaaaaaay back in my tennis playin', puff paint "Go Bulldogs" t-shirt wearin', Grinder Man cookie scarfin', so dorky I was cool days! While I don't have nearly as many stories to tell about Jacob... he seemed like an alright guy! I kid, I kid - Jacob was great and I think he and Katie make a perfect pair! =)
PS - you guys kind of spoiled me with all the recent comments...let's hear 'em again!!! =D You can say what you think about the pictures (I for one love Katie's outfit), what you're doing this fine Fall weekend (going garage sale surfing for some vintage furniture and other treats, taking engagement pictures, and family pictures for starters), or even what your favorite jumbo cookie flavor is (M&M and orange frosted sugar cookie for me, please)! GO!
Bryce and Leah are both genuine, sweet, down-to-earth people and I know they'll make each other very happy. They're from New York and they're having their wedding there next Fall.
I tell you what, we work with some amazing people and we never take for granted how fortunate we are because of that!
Here's a looksie! PS - I love Leah's hair. She might just be inspiration to grow mine back out. =) We'll see though.
Dac and Alisha I love all of these! You do such an amazing job! You even made Bryce look like he was enjoying himself(which I think he was). Can't wait to see more!!!
Thank you all again
Super cute couple!! It's obvious how in love they are :) I am loving that wall of ivy!!! Very cool...and beautiful! Great shots, as always!

If you've read this blog for long, or if you know me, you've probably heard of Chris before. Chris is an old friend of mine. I'm still not quite sure how we became friends back in elementary school and I'm not 100% sure how we've managed to stay good friends, but we have. When we were little, Chris made fun of me for running from bees on the soccer field. In high school, I sat with Chris and a couple other good friends, almost every day for 4 years. We always had the same lunch time. We also were in musicals together. In fact, we played a mean Mammy and Pappy in Lil' Abner our senior year. Chris would come over after school to run lines, but before we could, he made me drive him to Sonic (in my sweet little '90 Honda Accord...loved that car) and buy him a banana shake with extra bananas.
WHOA!
Since he's been home, he got engaged to Erica!! =) I don't think I've ever seen Chris this happy, so of course I'm happy for them. Erica had talked to me a few weeks ago about doing some pictures of her and her kids and some of her and Chris too. Turns out, we got to do a little engagement session too! We had a blast! I'm so glad we were able to do these and that they're getting to see them before he heads back! Congrats guys!!! =)
AWWWWWWW. I LOVE THESE..IT'S NICE TO SEE CHRIS HAPPY!
(08.27.10)I hope Erica knows what a prize she has! I am sure she does, it only takes meeting Chris!
(08.27.10)Oh my goodness, what a sweet story...it gave me goosebumps :) Beautiful pictures to go with it too! Oh, and I drove an 89 Honda Accord in HS! Loved it!
(08.27.10)love these pic! i sure am missing him already

We shot at a couple new locations and that's always fun. Plus, Kari and Drew are so incredibly in love (it's cute) that it would be hard not to get a good, happy picture of them! We're even more excited for the wedding now!
Check them out!
It rained all morning (the same day we did Dallas and Aubrey's pictures. Then, when it came time to do this session, the rain pretty well disappeared and we were left with a nice, overcast, albeit chilly afternoon. Still, it was dry and we had a great time. These two did a great job. I know it can be intimidating getting pictures taken. We always say the first 10 minutes are the worst and then after that it gets much easier and more relaxed. I hope they agreed! =) Anyway, they were super cute and were as nice as could be.
That's all I've got for ya - it's past my bedtime!! =) Enjoy the pictures! Wedding pictures coming at you soon.
Great Pictures. They are cute.

I will comment to the fact that you shouldn't be talking about those Grinder Man cookies....they are no longer =( Also, the pictures are great. Love the first one!
(10.16.10)Oh I guess I was wrong about that last comment...=) Didn't see the paper from yesterday until just now! So I guess you can still get you a big ol cookie! =)
(10.16.10)I am in LOVE with Katie's sweater!! Where from, where from?!?!
(10.17.10)I also love that so many of my friends left comments on our blog post. I just saw them...made me all warm and fuzzy inside! Hmm...I've never had a jumbo cooking from Grinder Man. Am I missing out?
Alisha, again, I love the pictures! And I can't wait to get some cookies this weekend & hopefully run into you & Dac.
Because there seems to be some demand for information, the sweater came from Anthropologie (on sale & I can't find a link to it right now)
(10.25.10)Love the color on you Katie. These are great pictures.
