We have so enjoyed getting to follow our friends' baby girl during her first year. It's been fun to watch her grow and change and gain her own personality. She's such a doll and we always have so much fun.

When we finished up their engagement session, Dac and I looked at each other and said "I really like them!" Those of you who know Jeff and Rachel well are probably saying "duh" right now. It's true, they're awesome.

We loved being a part of this wedding. These two have something special and are just two of the most kind, genuine, and funny people you'll meet.

I know they've been patiently waiting for these so I'll keep the chatter to a minimum. It was a beautiful wedding and I'm sure they'll have an even more beautiful marriage.

You've all seen my good friend Cori on here before - and you've heard lots about her totally awesome little girl whom I just absolutely adore to pieces. Well recently, we got to photograph her alongside her parents and sisters (oh and her super sweet new niece too). We'd met a few of them before - but mostly just in passing so it was cool to put some more faces with the names we hear about.

Obviously her dad is a little outnumbered... if the girls weren't all so ridiculously good looking (said in my best Zoolander voice... which honestly... isn't even that good but you get the picture), I might feel kinda bad for the guy.


Even though it was like 256 degrees outside we had a great time! The lonely only in me thinks big families are super cool... and this one is no exception!

We've had such a blast photographing this family during their little one's first year and we are already loving capturing #2. =) Can't wait to meet her in a couple months.

Beautiful family!!

You may remember this family from a few months ago when we first attempted this session. It was WAY too windy though, so after shooting for a while, we just rescheduled. We're used to the wind around here but it was so bad it was hard to keep your eyes open, Brandi's hair was flying everywhere, and Payge wasn't the happiest.

SO - we recently got together for take two. It was a breezy (but definitely not WINDY) day but even though the forecast called for rain, it was sunny with hardly a cloud in sight. Then, about 10 minutes before the session, a sky full of dark clouds rolled in, the wind started blowing harder, the humidity spiked, and it became apparent that rain really was going to come. Operation beat-the-rain was kicked into high gear!! =)

And we did! Mostly. We got sprinkled on quite a bit but we were able to get a session in none-the-less. Hooray! Payge was happy too!

Brandi was one of my very first friends! Even before pre-school. We had lots of backyard adventures, sleepovers in her big sister's room, and just had tons of fun. I've loved getting to catch up and meet her family... a family which is growing I might add. =) Can't wait to meet the new addition too. These guys are great! Take a look!
