This is a family that contacted us via word of mouth. Chris works with two of our past brides - Erica and Alison. I knew the second I got her e-mail that we wanted to work with them and that we'd get along just fine. =) We excitedly scheduled a session for this fall and that session was last weekend.

We had so much fun! The session was incredibly laid back and her entire family was just as nice as her. After 5 minutes it felt like we knew them for years. The boys (inlcluding fuzzy little LaMonte there) were as fun and sweet as can be! =)

Here's a quick look at our time at the park!

Thanks guys, we had such a great time with you and hope you enjoy the pictures!

Well few words are needed to describe this family. They are so sweet and some of the kindest people I know. Since I'm most around the girls - I'll start there. Kelly leads several Bible studies through the year - many of which I've been a part of the past few years. She gives and gives of her time to share with other women and treats the girls like they're her own. Mark is very involved in leading small groups and studies too. They're a busy pair!

Lauren started an amazing homeless outreach ministry in Wichita. It's been awesome to see how God is using her and that ministry to warm the hearts of the cold, tired, and hungry. I was fortunate enough to get to help distribute food a few times... turned my heart inside out.

Ryan has his own DJ and event lighting/production company. He's a real cool guy!

Needless to say the only poor taste these guys have is their taste in college football teams. =) I kid, I kid... no, but seriously... OSU is waaaaaay better! =)

One day I received a call from loooooong-time family friends and fellow photographers Mike and Marti Beauchamp. They were passing a long a wedding referral for a date they were already booked up on.

Then came the call from John. He and Brandi were planning a small, second wedding and we just went from there. They were planning from out of state so while we didn't get to meet in person - I'd heard that they were very nice people (Brandi's from here originally). Well, I'm happy to report that they were, in fact, super nice. =) And in love.

Here's just a quick look at their big day.

We recently spent a weekend with this pretty dang perfect 9-month old (how!?!) and her rad mom and dad. Love this family to pieces - some of our very best friends. Like homies fo life. =)

Anna is a school counselor and John's a teacher. The steps inside the school had just received a fresh coat of bright purple paint. Anna thought that'd be a fun location, and frankly, I couldn't agree more. Since we were already there, we just decided to stick around and play up the school theme.

Here's a few shots:

She's so much fun. We both loved getting to play with her and just hang out in general that weekend. It was a great break!

Bethany is a friend of Rachel's and some other super sweet girls I know. She e-mailed me after Rachel's wedding and before I was even a couple sentences into it, I just had a feeling Bethany and Brady were going to be a great match for us.

Now, with their engagement session under our belt, I have zero doubts. =) These two haven't been dating a real long time but when you know, you know, right? Their relationship is wrapped around God and God's love and guidance is no doubt wrapped all around them. They're so in love and it's a great thing to witness.

We met them in Ponca City at the Marland Mansion. We photographed the whole session there and while we probably didn't take the traditional spin on the mansion, I think we got some fun stuff anyway. We fought some pretty breezy conditions and kind of hurried through the first half of the session due to the thunder, lightning, and looming rain clouds. BUT - we hardly felt so much as a sprinkle until we'd taken our last shot and were heading back to the car.

We had such a great time with these two. Can. Not. Wait until their wedding later this fall! Bethany and Brady are truly beautiful... from inside out. You'll see...
